THE HERETIC IN FEBRUARY

The full cast has been announced for Richard Bean’s The Heretic at the Royal Court Theatre from 4 February, with a cast including James Fleet, Johnny Flynn, Adrian Hood, Juliet Stevenson, Leah Whitaker and Lydia Wilson. Richard Bean’s new black comedy tackles the divisive issue of climate change, questioning what we think we know and whether the science really is settled - “I’m a scientist. I don’t “believe” in anything.”

THE LAND OF YES AND THE LAND OF NO

For one exciting night only Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre welcomes Rafael Bonachela with The Land of Yes and the Land of No on Tuesday 26 January. In a new collaboration with composer Ezio Bosso, and since being appointed Artistic Director of Sydney Dance Company in November 2008, Rafael Bonachela is presenting the first new work for his UK based company.

THE FURIES / LAND OF THE DEAD / HELTER SKELTER (A Trilogy)

This stunning trilogy by award-winning playwright, screenwriter and film director Neil LaBute combines the British premiere of his latest piece The Furies, with Dialogue Productions’ critically acclaimed sell-out hit at The Bush Theatre – Helter Skelter and Land of the Dead, at the Mercury Theatre Colchester on 22 and 23 January before touring to 12 venues across the UK.

PROMISES PROMISES

Random Accomplice, in association with Tron Theatre, will present the Word Premiere of 'Promises Promises', the tense new thriller written by award-winning Scottish playwright Douglas Maxwell this February. Inspired by true events, 'Promises Promises' is a gripping one-woman show revolving around the cynical character of Maggie Brodie.

A Yorkshire Tragedy: not so new as lamentable and true.

The White Bear Theatre, as part of its current Lost Classics Season which opened with ‘Madness in Valencia’ (Time Out’s Critics Choice and transferring to Trafalgar Studios in January), now presents ‘A Yorkshire Tragedy: not so new as lamentable and true’, part of the Shakespeare Apocrypha and produced by Tough Theatre.

GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM

A powerful and uplifting children’s story is brought to the stage in a brand new adaptation, thanks to a partnership forged to develop high quality theatrical work for young people. Michelle Magorian’s compelling Goodnight Mister Tom is adapted by writer David Wood, described by The Times as the UK’s ‘national children’s dramatist’, and directed by Chichester Associate Angus Jackson.
